With over 15 years working as a social worker in medical settings, I’ve worked extensively with seniors, adults, families, children and couples, providing support that is both compassionate and attentive. As a child of immigrant parents and a first generation college graduate, I understand the many facets of caregiving across cultures and generations. My approach is rooted in real-life experience, driven by an inherent calling to help those who help others.

My Approach

As a therapist, my goal is to provide you with a supportive and safe environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I present a non-judgmental and compassionate approach and offer a break to focus on your needs. Whether you're seeking relief from the stress of daily life, the burden of caregiving, or just looking to improve your well-being, I’m here to help. Together, we'll navigate through the challenges and uncertainties, fostering hope and embracing the opportunities for growth that lie ahead.

Why Choose Nina?

Finding the right therapist is of the utmost importance as you will form a unique bond and entrusting a therapist with deeply personal information.

As a therapist actively working in a Los Angeles medical setting, I grasp the pressures faced by patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. My experience spans across all age groups, from infants to older adults, allowing me to address issues often invisible to others. I recognize the varied dynamics of caregiving, whether it's supporting young adults or those managing care from a distance, always respecting the profound impact of cultural identity on mental health.

You will always interact directly with me, as I am the sole provider and owner of my practice. This helps to create a deeply personalized and consistent therapeutic experience. Finally, my unique blend of real-world knowledge and cultural sensitivity sets me apart, making me a compassionate and effective therapist.
