My Approach
My approach is rooted in real-life experience, driven by an inherent calling to help those who help others. With over 15 years working as a social worker in medical settings, I’ve worked extensively with seniors, adults, families, children and couples, providing support that is both compassionate and attentive. The tremendous help from caregivers is instrumental to the healing of individuals.
As a child of immigrant parents and a first generation college graduate, I understand the many facets of caregiving across cultures and generations. My grandmother cared for me until moving away from home and later found our role reversed as her memory declined. My upbringing and work experience sparked the creation of Therapy for Caregivers to dedicate support for caregivers and care recipients.
As a therapist, my goal is to provide you with a supportive and safe environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I present a non-judgmental and compassionate approach and offer a break to focus on your needs. Whether you're seeking relief from the stress of daily life, the burden of caregiving, or just looking to improve your well-being, I’m here to help. Together, we'll navigate through the challenges and uncertainties, fostering hope and embracing the opportunities for growth that lie ahead.
